In 2009, she and her partner moved to San Diego. Since that time, she has been working at various practices throughout San Diego and Orange County.
Dr. Ishikane has a special interest in general medicine and surgery, preventative care, and management of endocrine diseases. She believes that animals are our best friends and members of our family, and that they deserve to be cared for and loved to the best of our abilities. It is her goal to be a partner to pet parents, helping them provide what their pets need to stay healthy and live a long and happy life.
Her current four-legged family includes an ex-racing greyhound named Finn, a pit bull named Hadley, a chihuahua named Bean, and a saucy sphinx cat named Wrinkles. In her free time she likes to Argentine tango, swim, read and learn to play the handpan.
