This fun class will be an interactive hands-on lecture and laboratory format. The focus will be on learning how the different species unique anatomy and physiology prepare them for different animal lifestyles. Students will handle and examine different species, interpret x-rays of different species and compare unique species adaptations.
The animals present will include:
A Hedgehog
A Lessor-Sulphur Crested Cockatoo
A Syrian Hamster
A Bearded Dragon
A (baby!) Florida King Snake
Other surprise species!
Workshops fee is $40 per student. Light refreshments are provided, please be sure to list any food allergies on your student's registration form. Feel free to contact our office with any questions!
