Our progressive, privately-owned 3 doctor practice is looking to hire a full-time associate veterinarian.
We are a busy small-animal veterinary hospital in San Marcos, CA offering a caring, quality, healthy work environment where our doctors and support staff can utilize their education, training, skills, and compassion to help our patients live their best lives. Our hospital philosophy is that happy team members are productive and loyal team members. We recognize the importance of life-work balance, a positive work environment, an enjoyable (3 day a week) schedule, and are committed to our associates’ quality of life.
Our hospital is located in the beautiful San Elijo Hills neighborhood in San Marcos, CA. We enjoy a clientele that is educated and cares deeply about their animal family members.
We are committed to providing exceptional medical care in a compassionate environment. We train and encourage low-stress animal handling, and hold patient comfort and wellness in high regard.
Our hospital is well staffed, employing 5 RVTs, several experienced Veterinary Assistants, and an exceptional Customer Service team. We have an in-house laboratory, full surgical suite, digital radiography, digital dental radiographs, ultrasound, and cryotherapy. We work closely with mobile boarded surgeons, internal medicine, and cardiologists to provide the highest level of medical care possible.
The right associate for this position must be thorough, articulate, hard-working, compassionate and eagerly contribute to a positive team environment. Strong surgical and dentistry (including extractions) skills are required, as is a willingness to see and treat emergency and urgent care cases.
