Dr. Paula Dvorchak received her Veterinary Degree from UC Davis in 2006. Before starting veterinary school, Dr. Dvorchak received her Master’s Degree in Animal Behavior and Psychology, during which time she completed several internships including programs in Spain and South Africa.
After receiving her degree, Dr. Dvorchak worked as an emergency veterinarian at California Veterinary Specialists, Murietta, before making the move to general practice. She worked for many years as both an Associate Veterinarian and veterinary hospital Medical Director before joining the team of Advanced Veterinary Care in 2022.
Dr. Dvorchak lives in Encinitas with her husband, David, and their three children, Maya, Evan, and Ava. They share their busy home with three dogs: Ella the Golden Retriever, Lilly the Terrier, and Charlie the French Bulldog, as well as three cats: Buddah, Shiva, and Nala. When not working or spending time with her family, Dr. Dvorchak enjoys traveling, yoga, walking, and exercising. She also creates handmade jewelry which and be found at a few local boutiques.
